November brings new bonuses, visitors, and events for BBS!

November isn't just for mustaches... 

BBS, Inc. is gearing up for an exciting month of November. 

The gentlemen in our office have started to raise awareness and money for mens' health. "No Shave Novemeber," encourages individuals to donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.

And let the Gaaaaaames begin!!! BBS, Inc is giving away a GoPro Hero4 and a FitBit Watch to the Top 2 Sales reps this month! Good luck to all of our sales representatives in the competition!

October Bonuses for our top account managers are awarded!

BBS, Inc. is all about recognizing our employees' hard work! This month management ran several different competitions for our top account managers! Prizes included a custom suit, Bruins tickets, and a LG flat screen TV!

Our first prize was awarded to Nick Valentine - a new account representative who has been working with us for just under a month. Nick was treated to a new suit! Congrats to one of our new up and coming rising stars for breaking $1,100 your 3rd week in the business! 

Our second prize was awarded to our 2 top account representative by manager, Vince Conley. They were able to go to the Bruins vs. Flyers game - all expenses paid! Not bad for a Wednesday night!

Our last, but certainly not least, award will be given out at the end of this week! Account representatives have been battling it out for the 55 in LG flat screen TV! The account representative with the most accounts for the month of October will be watching some pretty awesome quality TV!

BBS, Inc's Office Night Gives Back!

BBS, Inc. organizes a charity dodge ball tournament to benefit Operation Smile!

BBS decided to gear our energy towards helping a good cause this week! Managers, Jr. Account Managers, and our HR department participated in a "friendly" game of dodge ball!

The office was split into 4 teams who battled to the end for bragging rights! Each team was required to pay an entry fee of 60$ (10$ per person) All money raised was donated to Operation Smile - an organization that works to correct cleft pallets and facial deformities in children in third world countries!

All in all the event was a success! We were able to raise $240 - which is enough to sponsor a surgery! And everyone walked away with no injuries!

My summer as BBS, INC BOSTON's Summer Public Relations Intern

Entering my senior year in college, I was looking to fulfill my internship requirement at UMASS BOSTON. 

ABOUT ALEXA: UMB Senior '15, degree in Communications
 I was looking for different marketing jobs that offered internships in my area of study because I had a strong interest in business marketing. Before coming to BBS Inc, I interned as a sales intern for a company called COLLEGE WORKS PAINTING.

While I was here, I had an amazing experience learning and working for the president of our company, VINCE CONLEY

There were many highlights of my summer, after all they are the BEST PLACE TO WORK from Boston Business Journal, for a reason. The energy and enthusiasm that every person working here had was contagious and made working here an amazing time.
I was so grateful I was picked as there PR intern. While being here because within my first week I got to attend The Boston Business Journal Award Ceremony . To go with this company was such a great highlight for my time here.

I spent my summer learning so much about what goes into running a business. Moreover, learned the ins and the outs of having a great marketing plan. In addition, I also got hands on management training, straight from managers themselves.

 If your looking to work somewhere that will challenge you and also where you can meet life long friends/coworkers this is your place.

 I can't wait to see the growth of the teams, and management I was able to meet and the growth of this amazing place. #READYSETGROW

Nashville National Conference 2015

It's been an exciting summer here at BBS, Inc Boston! The weekend of July 24th-26th BBS, Inc Boston, was invited to the National Conference at Nashville TN. It was held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. It was a weekend to network and learn from the best in the industry!

Jenny Goracke and Mary McLaughlin, in our human resources were awarded for being one of the top recruiters within our industry!

Alex is a very hard worker, and always has an awesome attitute. Alex is a team player, that sets goals for himself and achieves success. He is a leader to others on his team, and a role model in his work ethic. We couldn't be happier to announce this guy, as our new assitant manager!
